Canadian retailer Aritzia is setting the stage for a massive leap. At its investor day Tuesday, the womenswear chain projected its net revenue to hit up to $10.5 billion CAD — or about $7.5 billion — by fiscal 2032, up from $2.6 billion in its most recent fiscal year ending March 1.
Representing a 15 to 17 percent compound annual growth rate, its ambitious targets also forecast an adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) margin of 21 percent.
“Our United States business is delivering exceptional results and will remain our primary growth market through fiscal 2032,” chief executive Jennifer Wong said in a statement. “At the same time, we will begin taking an important step toward our long-term ambition of becoming famous around the world.”
To fund and fuel this growth, Aritzia will aggressively grow its retail footprint, adding 12 to 14 new boutiques annually to reach a total of 220 stores by 2032. This brick-and-mortar push will finally see the brand expand its geographic reach beyond North America.
